Egyptian Alabaster Vessel
The translucent stone veining of this limestone/travertine creates a special blend of color and texture that is specifically found in Middle Egypt. It's given the name Egyptian Alabaster because of its unique history as a valued material and color pattern.
This vessel would make an incredible tea light holder, to play up its soft glow. To preserve the material avoid florals that need to be in water. It makes for a gorgeous container for dried herbs and flowers. Enjoy it as an interesting, historical object and piece of art.
