It's Spotify Wrapped Season! I love this feature because it allows us to laugh at ourselves and proudly showcase our highly curated and diverse taste in music. According to my 2023 music recap, my taste leans toward mellow, moody, and patient sounds. As winter feels like the longest night, I took it as a sign to embrace the moody-dark feels and create a playlist that I'm well-equipped to curate.
Wintering is inspired by solitude, reflections, and the long winter nights spent with our loved ones. It features a mix of genres and decades, as well as covers that evoke nostalgia as the year comes to an end. In this chaotic and festive time of year, I wanted to celebrate the cozy feeling of sweater weather while also adding a touch of static cling. Enjoy!
